Gaining Permanent Residency in Canada
I've done tons of research on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada site but still have questions galore.
I'm an American marrying a Canadian citizen this Spring. After the marriage, we are applying for Permanent Residency for me under the Family Class/Spouse option.
I plan on applying while in the states.
Do I need an immigration lawyer for this process? What is the approximate cost for that?
Re: Gaining Permanent Residency in Canada
You should check with Canadian immigration authorities or a Canadian legal resource. This is a U.S. site.

Oh. I'm sorry! I thought since this section was for immigration, it would cover all kinds/countries.
Thank you for your reply.
