Remedies After a Petition to Modify Visitation is Denied
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Florida

there is a parenting plan and time share agreement in place since November 2012. THE NCP parent has visitation everyother weekend and part of school holiday's (winter break, summer vacation etc). Mother has long history of abandonment of the children since toddler are (now in elementary school). Drug addiction and now multiple suicide attempts. Is homeless and has been baker acted multiple times.

A petition was made to the court to modify time sharing to be supervised however the judge denied the initial petition stating that if the children were actually physically harmed to call 911 or the abuse hotline to report it. Any suggestions about next steps?

the judge was given the police reports from the incidents, detailed timeline of the NCP activities, 15 residences in 3 years, criminal record etc.

Can't afford an attorney at this point as CP is the sole support for the children as NCP not paying ordered support of $100 per week. Legal aid is not an option as the NCP used them for the divorce and they advise that they cannot assist the CP now as a result and as CP makes just over the amount to quality for assistance.

Don't know where to turn at this point...any suggestions??????:wallbang:

The motion to modify visitation was denied how long ago? What, if anything, has changed since that time? Who are you? What is the current status of court proceedings?

I Am The CP/Father. Petition Was Denied In August And Again In September. Mother Has Had No Contact With The Children Recently. Was Involve In Several Incidents With Police/Drugs/Violence In The Past Two Weeks. Have Voice Mails Left At 4Am Where Was Clearly Under The Influence Of Drugs/Alcohol.

Court Has Denied Twice So That Is The Question....Where Do I Go From Here? My Children Are Not Safe With Her Physically Mentally And Emotionally.

Hmmm...the only person I know that capitalizes every word is a regular "troll" on another forum.

Some forum software automatically capitalizes every word if the poster writes entirely in caps.

Nope...it is strictly an issue when I access the page from my phone. On my computer it's fine. Was hoping for some direction.
