Disagreeable hasn't been near a Virginia court. While it's possible you will be charged with making a false statement when you show up at court, I'd be surprised. Again, he's 100% wrong about every piece of procedure for both the trial process and getting a public defender.
I am familiar with Virginia Courts. Depending on the "prosecutor" you may see community service or some sort of lax probation. Try and correct the false information prior to court.
