Re: Is There Any Way I Could Go About Getting Emancipated if My Plans Work Out
Suppose you try answering a few of the specific questions that have been asked of you.

That's complete horse manure - a doctor will not prescribe Adderal because of your dialect. Come on now. Do you really think that's the case?

You're no different from the hundreds of minors who come here, ask about emancipation, then invariably get pissy when they don't hear what they want to hear.

I'm not getting "Pissy" and yes he would because my guardians are annoyed by it, they said I was raised in "Hick Town" and I don't talk right. My grades have ALWAYS be As and Bs, even here..

Sorry kiddo, not buying this at all.

Bottom line though? I cannot see you being emancipated.

In the most polite manner, I must say enough of this. I came to you seeking advice and I even said in my original post that if these plans would not work, what would you recommend? Not talk to me like I'm 6 and tell me how messed up I am, I mean come on, really? You're experts, not amateurs, and you have a forum specifically for juvenile emancipation... just because a lot of the cases seen in the forum are of kids whining because they can't get what they want, doesn't mean that every one of them that comes here is like that. Some of them actually face emotional abuse and will give all the hard work and dedication they have to to get a way from it, like me.

I would recommend that you drop the attitude. Getting all A's and B's is NOT sufficient for emancipation.

Now, if you would actually ANSWER the questions I asked you on the last page, then maybe you'd get more information. To reiterate:

What job do you have that will allow you to pay 100% of the market rate for rent, utilities, all your food, clothing, transportation, medical care, insurance, staples, school fees and supplies, and all the other incidentals of life, working only the hours that are allowed in your state for the age of 16, while simultaneously going to school and keeping all those A's and B's you're so proud of?

I'm not so proud of them, I was simply stating that I had them before I was prescribed adderall. I don't have an attitude, I just expected to come here and get professional advice, not be attacked. I have a social security account with over $500 in it and that the government sends more money each month to to help my guardians raise me and the official documents say right on them that once they no longer assume responsibility, under any terms or conditions, the money that remains in the account is rightfully mine. Also, I work for a local magician/illusionist/party service owner that I was introduced to as a family friend. He pays me $10 an hour, I pick my hours and days, and when events for things such as Halloween and Christmas come up, I can work for him at the local zoo and make at least $245 on my paycheck at the end of the event, that's after taxes...... What would you recommend me do?

You don't want to hear what we have to say.

But I'll try anyway. What would I recommend you do? Suck it up until you're 18.

The real world is not always a fun place to be when you're young and on your own.

Do you have any idea what "emotional abuse" actually means?

Nevermind, I'll find a site where I can actually find help and not be blown off when someone such as yourself gets frustrated because he deals with kids all day...

This only proves that you're nowhere near mature enough to be out on your own.

And to you, it's Ms. Dogmatique. Not "he".

Be aware that many of us cross post on various legal forums.

Kid you are not smart enough to research the laws requirements for your state. Nor are you smart enough to interpret them in a legal context. Both, money aside, prove you are not a candidate for emancipation.
