Charged With Possession Ecstacy Pills and Intent to Sell or Distribute

My question involves criminal law for the state of: CA

I was arrested over the weekend at a rave (40K plus attendees) for possession of 10 ecstacy pills and possession with intent to sell or distribute. I am wondering what the courts are likely to do, prosecute to the full extent of the law, or maybe drop or minimize the intent to sell charge. This happened in Santa Clara County, Silicon Valley. I would guess that this is a very conservative white collar demographic. I have no priors. I am 23. Thank you for any help/advice you can provide.

Hire an attorney and hope they offer you a plea to possession and drug diversion (probation, community service, and rehab). If not, jail time, fines, extensive probation and drug rehab is likely in your future. A local attorney can provide you with info on the most likely local sentence.

I just hired an attorney. Would it help to be in a drug rehab program prior to court appearance? Would it help my case?
