Emancipation at age 17

Ok so i am 17 i wanted to know if it is a waste of time to try and file for emancipation! I can take care of myself and my parents and i dont get along at all! Im grounded all the time and i cant stand it! I dont want to wait another 10 months! Please let me know!!!

It takes at least 2 months to get a hearing. So I'd just wait!
