Child Lives Out of State with Sister
My question involves child support in the State of: PA

My ex allowed my youngest daughter to go live with her (daughter's) sister in another state. They planned this without my consent. My ex receives child support from me. We have a hearing set up, but I'm wondering if I need to continue sending support (taken from paycheck) to my ex wife? Would there automatically be an order for the support to be sent to the sister?

Why don't you believe your child needs to eat any longer?
If you want to have the order modified to reflect where your daughter lives, you'll have to request a modification.

No, I have no problem "feeding" my daughter. My issue is with continuing to send money to her mother with the assumption it is being sent for support for my daughter.

Well, you can certainly ask the court to redirect the support to the sister. However, if mom is still covering most of the child's expenses, then it gets complicated that way.

As long as mom remains the custodial parent with the exclusive right to determine where the child resides, she will most likely continue to receive child support.

You would have the right, of course, to petition to modify custody such that you become the custodial parent.
