Is it abandonment for parents to leave you with a grandparent?
If my parents move and just dump me off with my grandma...is that considered abandonment?
My mother has kicked me out twice in a different situation and i was only 14.
I am now 16 and they are planning on moving(for no good reason) and they want me to live with my grandma now.
If they dump me off with my grandma, would they still get the child support from my father even if I'm not living there? and since they pretty much kicked me out, dont I have the choice to if I want to live with my father or not?

It's not abandonment for your mother to arrange for you to live with your grandmother. Why isn't your father seeking custody?

well, just to let you know, my sister has been in a foster home for awhile now and she's been coming home on weekends and behaving well...my mother still decides she's going to sign her off to these people so she has no more rights to my sister and never has to see her again. In my opinion that is abandonment. Anyway, my father has tried to seek custody, but the courts wouldnt allow him because of things he has done in the way past when i was about 8 and I am 16 now. I dont think those things should matter anymore because he is a changed man and he is with a new woman and has proved to be safe. Soon, he is going to take me to the courts, but somehow I have to sneak off with him because my mother grounds me if I even see my father at all.
