Parent Not Following Custody Orders
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Florida.
My Ex husband is in the Army. According to our custody paperwork he is supposed to give me information on what school our son is attending. Our son has been attending school for almost a month now and he refuses to send me the information. I have sent him several emails and text messages kindly asking him to email me the information. He will not reply to any of them. I have visitation in December and I need to know when to buy plane tickets. I live in another state. Can I file for contempt?
Re: Parent Not Following Custody Orders
Yes. But you're going to have to show a pattern. I hate to advise you to wait, because you may miss December's visitation. On the other hand, just not answering your emails for a month, isn't much of a pattern.
