Finance Company wants their car loan paid
    Hello Everyone:

My problem is that my husband passed away 3 years ago. I filed bankruptcy and still kept the car. The loan was signed by me as a co-signer. I never signed a reaffirmation for the loan. And though I continued paying monthly, the Finance Company is not giving me credit for any payments.

I still owe $4000.00 on the car. And can not pay for it. The car is unrepairable a total loss. They will repo and sell the car and I am still responsible to pay the balance after sale with other fees.

Well, my question is why am I suppose to pay when I am not even getting credit on my credit report file for the payments in the last 3 years and if I never signed anything in writing to affirm the debt. The auto loan was sold to another Finance Company as well.

And should I find legal help if I can not pay for this auto. Which would cost me also $6000.00 to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated by anyone.

You really need to go talk to a bankruptcy attorney.
