Can the Plaintiff's Boyfriend Serve a Lawsuit
My question involves court procedures for the state of: az I was served papers by the boyfriend of the plantiff She was also with him. But here in az a private person has to apply with the court to be a process server which they did, but he was denied by the court to be a process server 3 weeks after they applied. But he filed an affidavit of service signed by him even though he was denied. I went to the courthouse and read all minutes he was never approved. So is this not unlawful invalid service with him trying to serve after being denied thanks

You can file a motion to quash service and, should you succeed, they'll have to serve you again.

They'll have to serve again PROPERLY. Arizona goes further to stipulate that all persons serving process (whether government or civilian) must be certified by the Arizona Superior Court (excepting service of Subpoenas). Therefore, having the boyfriend serve the papers under ANY circumstance is not a bright idea.
