Harrassed Online Through Fake Facebook Accounts

The names provided are NOT the actual names of the people I'm referring to.

I know this is a United States forum, but here me out. A 19 year old girl named Zoe harasses people over the internet. She has fake Facebook accounts to harass other people and start arguments on her wall. She has a large following and people take her side not knowing the truth of what she is doing. She is in the UK and I want to press charges against her for many reasons such as publicly slandering my name. Making a Facebook page saying to kill me, making threats against my life, publicly slandering my name and harassing me and others on fake accounts. Now recently I have spoke to one of the girls taking her side, named Sally. I told Sally that Zoe is telling me to kill myself and cyber bullying people on fake accounts over the internet. She took my message and ALTERED IT, making it look like I'm saying things I didn't say using Photoshop. She made it look like I called her fat and told her to kill herself, then posted it to tumblr and gave it to Zoe so she can put it on her Facebook. I want to press charges on both girls. Zoe has also made threats to kill me. Zoe lives in the U.K. and claims to be a SOCIOPATH. She has many mental disorders, thus making her literally insane. Sally is in Loxahatchee, Florida. I am not sure of Sally's age.

So my questions are:

Can I press charges?

How do I press charges on someone who does not live in the U.S.?

Can someone go to jail for this and if so, how much time can they get?

Where do I start, is it as simple as calling 911?

there is no such thing as a fake Facebook account. They are all real. The "owner" may not be a real person but the account is real.

contact Facebook and report the harassing posts. They are pretty good about policing themselves.

Other than that, quit involving yourself with these people.

It's as simple as getting off Facebook and finding some other way of wasting your time.

That you are upset with all this and you keep on being involved with it speaks volumes about you.

Hardly identity theft, is it?

It's the principal of it. It's cyber bullying. Plus pictures with my name are people posted saying that I made statements that I never made. That technically is fraught.

"Technically" it is not fraud at all.

Fraud is, in general, when you obtain money or services under false pretenses.

So all of that stuff that they do and did to me is legal?
