Out of Status Time and 6 Years H1B Clock

If I am on an H1 visa and lose my job and become out of status - will the time I have been out of status count against the six year clock.

I am unemployed and out of status now and want to know how much time I have left on my H1 visa - will it be the 6 yrs - time spent employed and in valid H1B

visa or will it be 6 yrs - time spent employed and in status on valid H1B + time spent being unemployed and out of H1B status?

Since you are unemployed, you are expected to leave the US since H-1B requires that you be employed at all times. Your former employer should have revoked their sponsorship of you as soon as you were terminated. Rather than worrying about home much time you have left, you should be making travel arrangements.
