If you are determined to post something, no one can stop you. But unless you have the kind of proof I talked about above, you're laying yourself open to being on the wrong end of a lawsuit.

Thank You LawResearcherMissy but I do not appreciate that kind of comment.
I don't especially care about what kind of comment you do or do not appreciate. You should reconsider asking questions you don't want an actual answer to, if you're going to whine when you get one.

THese are the kind of people that gives a wrong color to a good informative forum. I do not know about you but I am from a different country and I was taught first about respect first. With all due respect looks like you lack that LawResearcherMissy. From the first post i felt as i am the one guilty by posting here. Almost every member here was trying to prove that I am the one who is wrong. Sorry I AM NOT> Telling me something and doing something is falsification of information. And I would expect some respect while posting here. I respect while I talk and expect the same back. Thank you

    Legally YOU ARE WRONG.

The problem here isn't that you're from a different country - the problem is that you don't know how the law works in this country.

I had no problem understanding how law works in this country, as i said We were told something and something else happened. Yes unfortunately as some other people said five of my classmate`s verdict may not be considered as evidence until i have a video recording. Yes I may be 'LEGALLY WRONG' that way !! They just advantage of us trusting the admission and finance lady telling us nothing will happen if we do not pay the school and they would not give us our certificate unless we pay them.

And yes I do expect respect and verbally civilized way of talking in this forum. If you look around in the pages of this post you will understand what I am talking of. Sorry I do not talk that way . Thanks Dogmatique

how long did it take before you realized you are the guilty one here?

we aren't trying to prove anything. We are attempting to convince you the truth of the matter and that is you are wrong.

    Sorry I AM NOT>

no, it's not. It is outright lying and guess what; it makes no difference. It was not a material issue to the contract so it is meaningless. They could have told you the moon is made of cheese and pigs can fly and it would not change your situation.

you want to demand respect? try here:

you can demand respect there but it will cost you starting at a couple hundred bucks an hour and up.

here, you got info...correct info...and it was all free.

What exactly is the meaning of that statement ?

Yes nothing was mentioned about any CA in the contract.

they do not have to mention anything in the contract.

what are you not understanding here? You entered into a contract. You breached the contract. They made efforts to collect on the contract. Part of that is they get to hire a company to do that for them or they could have sold the contract to another entity altogether. It makes no difference; you still owed what you promised you would pay.

a side issue is; it can be reported on your credit history where it will be reported for 7 years from the date of delinquency.

So when you agreed to pay your tuition, and then later failed to pay your tuition....

Here's the thing: If it's just you and your friends claiming that somebody at the school told you that you didn't have to pay your tuition, the chance of anybody believing you hover near 0%. Schools don't stay open unless students pay their tuition, even if those students choose not to obtain degrees.

Who did you speak with at the school, and why did you believe this person would have any authority to waive the school's right to receive the money you promised, in writing, to pay?

And why do you believe the school had any obligation to tell you in advance that you would be sent to collections if you didn't pay?
