Thank you so much LawResearcherMissy for your detailed reply. I agreeto everything you said. But whatabout telling me from day one that nothing will happen if we do not pay ? We have 5 evidences of this fact

What you have is hearsay, not evidence.

I do not understand what you mean by "no one falsified anything " . Telling me nothing will happen if i do not pay and then sending my account to collection is falsification of information. I have already payed the collection agency in full and done with it . This wold not happened if the school told me on day 1 that if i do not pay it would go in collections. This could have been avoided. Now my score is damaged because of wrong information and negligence. Please consider this ... i do appreciate your idea though

Thank you Antigone. I am thinking of getting a notarised copy of the 5 students signing and writing that they did not tell us about the collection agency until the last day . Will that be considered evidence ? Thank you again

No, a notarized statement of hearsay is still hearsay.

FYI, the only thing that a notary's seal means is that the notary has verified the identity of the signer(s) of the document. It bears no relationship to the nature of the contents of the document; it does not magically make it admissible.

    Signed, a former notary

You have no recourse, nothing. You cannot change a written agreement verbally. So anyone could have told you anything and it would not have changed the written contract you have with the school.

Now that you've paid your debt, the account will show as paid and will be removed in due time.

hmm these five people are all my class mates . So their words must counting as evidence. I appreciate what you all have said. At least I could talk to someone. I sincerely appreciate. But it is also true that the school dealt with this matter with negligence and trick. This all could have been avoided if they told us " hey if you do nt pay the last day it would go to collection agency." So i cannot charge anything against them because of that fact ? I just dont get it.

What if I send this whole story to BBB bureau. Can it backfire if i write it as a review in google against the school ?

So you SERIOUSLY believed that you could just blow off your payments and no one would do anything about it?

What color is the sky in your world?

I can see the BBB laughing now. "Hey, Pete, come look at this one. This kid didn't pay the school what he was supposed to and now he's mad because they sent him to collections!"

Seriously, kid. You could get a document witnessed by Eric Holder and notarized by every notary in your state, and no one is going to believe the school told you that you could forget paying and nothing would happen. People have been known to lie in notarized documents - such a document is NOT evidence no matter what you say.

Got a video recording of someone identified as being from the school telling you that? If not, don't waste your time.

Thank you CBG. They color of the sky in my world is blue for sure but the color of the sky may be grey over the school. I was surely surprised when they said nothing will happen if i dont pay other than not getting the certificate. So to me they were not telling th etruth.

But then I needed a second opinion and this forum have helped me a lot with lots of good opinions which I sincerely appreciate. Thanks again.

Thank You LawResearcherMissy but I do not appreciate that kind of comment. I came to this forum to get a second opinion not to get comment to my action. I was surprised to see none told or was surprised that kind of action from the school. I surely appreciate that everyone took time toou give me some kind of advice but I surely do not share same kind of mindset as you LawResearcherMissy. It is my duty to warn every future student of this school as obviously they would do it again. Thank you again.

The money tree died. Now they are going by the contract you signed.
