How Can I Help My Granddaughter in an Abusive Household

my granddaughter is in danger and I need some help. her parents rob our house and moved out of state. they (the mother) contacted us about six months ago and said her boyfriend(baby's father) has been very verbally abusive to her and said he was taking their kid and leaving. they do not live in a home and they are homeless. he was taking the child to his mother who has been order by the courts no children allowed to live with her because of child abuse. his mother and he are both drug addicts. the child dislikes her father's mother. I have witness her being mean by pulling her hair, slapping her and pinching her. her son just says that his daughter needs to get use to his mother. she has already had one child taken from her from neglect. he suffer from metal problems now. can some please help me help my granddaughter before it is to late.

Apparently, you have waited 6 months to reach this decision. If you feel you have current info that can be related to Childrens Services or the police about an imminent threat, call them where they are sleeping.

Why are you wasting your time asking this type of question on the Web. If your granddaughter is in danger call the police. If it is only that you disapprove of mom's lifestyle, then that is something you will have to live with.
