Adult Teenager Sexting With a 15-Year-Old

My question involves criminal law for the state of: South Carolina
I'm a 19 year old male who was recently texting a 15 year old female. We usually just chatted and talked about food, vacations, and just life in general. But there were a few messages I am worried about.
First message, I asked if she was a virgin.
Second, I asked what all she had done with a guy.
Third, We talked about dating when she gets OLDER and possibly doing sexual activities when she gets OLDER.
I never asked her to have sex with me, I never asked her for nude pictures, I never talked about doing things until she gets OLDER. The only time we ever discussed meeting was at the mall some time where we could sit, eat, talk and just walk around having a conversation.
Again, I never asked for anything sexual. I only talked in future context.
CAN I GET IN TROUBLE FOR JUST ASKING THOSE QUESTIONS AND MENTIONING SEXUAL MATTERS?
Please answer, I'm worried sick.

Yes you can. Criminal charges ranging from misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor to various felonies including obscenity. If explicit images were involved, start multiplying felonies. And her parents can seek things like restraining orders against you as well. You are an ADULT. She is a CHILD. Unless you are thrilled at the idea of jump suits and the chance to shower with a bunch of other adult males, knock it off.

I sent her a message after this happened that reads "I really can't get comfortable even just texting a minor. So to prevent your parents from being upset or causing legal trouble, I'm no longer going to talk to you. Sorry. Last text. "

Block every means of contact.

Aside from wearing a prison jumpsuit and trying not to drop the soap when showering with other inmates....you really don't want to spend your life as a Registered Sex Offender, right?

Time to start talking to people your own age. And don't ask the sex questions until you have met the person....and seen their ID (man, my Drivers License pic sucks, you'll laugh at it...lemme see how good yours is....= easy way to check name, addy, age......)
