How to Take My Child to Stay Outside the Country

My question involves a marriage in the state of: California

I have been married with my husband almost 10 years. We have 2 childs, 3 and 1 year old. We are agree to send me and our kids back to Thailand about 2 years.
We don't have problem except financial problem. My husband wants to looking for a new job first and clean up the debt first then me and my kids can come back USA.

My question is what kind of agreement do I need to do with him? I don't know about the future because we are stayed far away. I want to have legal paperwork
to make sure that he will pay child support also he allows me to take a child back to Thailand.
