How to Get an Aggravated Battery Charge Dropped or Decreased
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois.
I am currently on probation and I was charged with aggravated battery for supposedly hitting a person and ripping their shirt while in a bar. They are also trying to revoke my probation for my DUI and perjury charge from last year because I was drinking and received a new charge. I did not hit the person, but I did rip her shirt after I was pushed by one of her friends. Is there any way this case could be dropped completely, or dropped down to a misdemeanor and be put on probation if they decide to continue with my probation instead of revoking it? Or am I completely screwed?
Re: Any Way to Drop or Decrease Aggravated Battery Charge
It really needs to be said? You need to be working with your criminal defense lawyer.
