My question involves criminal law for the state of: kansas
If a person writes a check for $2000 in Kansas, what steps do the DA take to recover the money?
Do they allow the person an opportunity to pay the check, or do they file charges immediate?
i did not write a hot check, I am curious as I had someone write one to me
