Mother Took Child, Won't Allow Access

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas
My 8 years old son mother left us on Oct of 2012 I have been taking care of my son alone. Two mouth pass and she want my son to visit her on the weekends. I didn't like it because I didn't know where she lives. I couldn't keep my son from see his mother. Everything has been good she picks him up Friday and drops him off Sunday. Out of nowhere she tells me she keeping me son and I can’t see him and talk to him. I have been there from day one she left us 3 time before but now she acting like I can’t take care my son . I feel like I been doing good job my son ended the school year with all Bs I don’t get where she saying that. Its now two week from the last time I talk or seeing my son. My son mother boyfriend AGG ROBBERY WITH DEADLY WEAPON 3 COUNTS, AGG ASSAULT CAUSING SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, ATTEMPT TO COMMIT MURDER and been CONVICTED to all of them and was on parole ended on 6-30-2013. I feel there more but I’m not a PI is there something I can do now last time I was trying to get his mother to do what’s right and I can hear my son in the background saying he want to go home that’s what killing me inside. I know and Im trying to get a lawyer some info from anyone we be helpful.

my son mother tells me that im don't going to get my son i never hit her nothing like that im not a bad person i don't do drugs get in trouble with the law no im about my son. i been there from day one and they do me like this. im at the end of my rope got to pay all this money to a lawyer and than who now how long it be till something happens i don't know its all bull i want my son home and my son want to come home but one dumb fool is keep him from coming home. i cant give up your info is what i hope for if it help or not thank you
