What is the Charge for a Felony False Pretense
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Mississippi.
I got charged with a felony false pretense for the amount of $530.00. I haven't went to trial yet and I got a court appointed attorney. What is the usual charge I would get for this. It had to do with Walmart and before I got charged with the state I had already paid my fine through them and then the state took over to do charges too. I know I am guilty and have already said that just would like to know what I'm facing.

Felonies are usually good for heavy fines and some jail.
Your lawyer might be able to get you a plea bargain so there's really no way to guess what your penalties were.
What you paid Walmart was a civil settlement (not technically a fine) and has nothing to do with the criminal complaint except maybe to make sentencing a bit less unpleasant.
Talk to the lawyer.
