Agreed to Pay Through Paypal, Now Arguing About Fees
My question involves child support in the State of: Maryland
My ex and I agreed to use paypal to exchange child support payment as it is more convenient for both of us. 4 months later, and after I refused to let her pick up the child early during me scheduled visitation, she has decided to tell me that if I don't reimburse her for the fees she's had to pay to transfer the funds into her bank account, she will report me for being in arrears. I'm not responsible for fees imposed by the financial institution she agreed to and has never raised a concern about. Does she have a leg to stand on?

Tell her to go ahead and try. Also let her know that you will ask the judge for sanctions and for her to pay for any attorney's fees that you incur.
I suggest you either set up an online banking bill pay or send her a good old check.

PayPal offers a debit card that can be used to withdraw funds, make purchases, etc..
