Can a Private Entity Limit What You Can Say in Their Forum
Can a private entity continually violate your Constitutional rights to free expression/speech with their so-called 'community standards'? A particular social network, now a publicly traded stock market commodity, has twice in the past seven days, suspended me for expressing my personal views. The worst part of the whole thing, the so-called standards are arbitrary. Unless someone complains, you can be insulted, belittled, and basically made to look stupid for your views and this entity will do nothing. Since the standard is only enforced at whim, is it REALLY a standard? It may well be a policy, but it doesn't appear to be a standard. They are becoming known for targeting conservative churches, groups and persons at the whim of homosexual activists.

Basically, this is what it's all about. The homosexuals are welcome to do whatever they please, while Christians/conservatives are demeaned and belittled. If there is an attorney out there with the knowledge and testicular fortitude to take this matter on, I'd appreciate it. I am sick and tired of being treated like a second or third class citizen in what purports to be a free country.

This isn't a civil rights issue. You want to play in their house, you have to play by their rules.

You want a forum where nobody will chastise you for saying whatever it is you want to say? Set one up - it doesn't cost much, and you can even find sites that will let you create a forum for free.

There is no violation of constitutional rights here.

Have you even bothered to read the Constitution before you asked that question?

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech..."

That applies to how the government treats its citizens.

So, yes, a private entity, business, or individual can certainly limit what you say or write or how you behave in it's establishment.

there is no part of the constitution that allows you to use the force of government to enslave the owners and force them to distribute your hate speech against their will.
