Using a Fake Resume to Get a Government Job

What will happened if anyone get caught or submit a fake resume (Education & Work Experienced) IN USA GOV JOB in IT section? Please reader if you do not mind explain? What is the punishment or ?

Would you be so kind as to provide a significantly more detailed query?

Without details it's anyone's guess as to what the outcome is. Have you done this? Or perhaps thinking about doing it? Or got caught doing this? It depends on what you misrepresented, how you misrepresented it, what your misrepresentation gained for you that otherwise would not have come to pass.......that's just a few aspects of what could lead to dozens of more question and/or inquiries.

I just met a person who just had interview for US gov IT job. AS far i know he never went to college or school in USA AND He was telling me his resume is fake so i am just curious to know what will happened to him is there really a way ????

one of my friend just had a interview with a hiring manager on it field of us gov job. but his resume work experienced and education background is fake but he did well in interview now they are offering him a big amount of money but the condition is after he accept their offer they will check his background so i am just curious to know what will happen to him next what is law is it possible to get a job by using fake resume please ..........

In all likelihood he could be prosecuted for submitted false information to the gov't.

What will probably happen is that he will be informed that his background did not check out and that the offer is being revoked. Nothing more will happen. He's not committing a crime - he's not going to be fined or go to jail. But it's unlikely that the offer will stand. It will be pulled; they will move on to the next candidate, and he will start looking all over again.

Yes, people have in the past gotten jobs on fake resumes and most likely will again. But this is WHY we do background checks.
