    Entering the U.S. for a Professional Exam - B1/B2 Refusal
    hello,
    i am dentist doing job in private clinic. i want to do dds in usa for that i have to give national board of dental examination which is conducted only in usa. i paid the exam fees and all. i applied for visitor visa for exam. i saw them all documents but my visa was rejected please now what to do. please help me asap. i rejected from mumbai consulate two weeks ago.

    You can not get a B1 visa if you intend to work in the US. You'll need to get a proper work authorization.

    Apparently, you did not tell the truth on the visa application, among other things. Consult an immigration attorney.

    You want to qualify to work in the United States. That means you want to immigrate into the United States, and want to take this test to further your goal of immigration. In order to get a B1/B2 visa, you must not have the intention of immigrating into the United States. Thus your visa was denied.
