Is it Wrongful Termination if You're fired After Giving Two Week Notice
My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Maryland

I plan on putting in a two week notice. I do know that an employer has a right to terminate you for no reason but, I've witnessed other personnel in my department put in two week notices without termination. If I am terminated as a result of a two week notice, Can I raise a lawsuit?

No, but you can just file for Unemployment two weeks sooner.

    Re: Two Week Notice
Not unless you have a valid and supportable reason to believe that your resignation was accepted early and theirs were not BECAUSE OF your race, religion, national origin, or other characteristic protected by law. There are some positions when I would let an employee work out their notice and some that I wouldn't - it would depend on the job. The employer is free to make their own decisions on that as long as they don't violate Title VII and related laws.
