Alaska vs Florida Child Support

My question involves child support in the State of: Alaska and Florida. I was divorced and child support established in Alaska. My ex husband still lives in Alaska. I need to ask for a modification in support. I have since moved to Florida with my disabled daughter and have lived her for 3 years. I would like to know the pros and cons of keeping my child support case in Alaska vs moving it to Florida.

As one parent still lives in Alaska, no change of venue is warranted. You created the distance.

What benefit do you believe you would obtain by having Florida take jurisdiction, assuming your ex- agrees to that?
