Can an Unemployed Teenager Get Emancipated
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Nevada

I have a 16 year old living under my roof who my roommates let live here and she wants to be emancipated. There are several adults that live in our apartment and She does not have a job nor does she go to school. I have my own child that I support I am not happy with the situation but no one wants to listen to me. She has family but of course like all teenagers her life with her family is so "horrible". I feel the best thing for her is to go back home and go back to school. I work to support my family and can not afford to support someone else. I need to know what I can do to help her get back to her mom. I am not close with this girl and even tho I am the oldest in the house and have experience in the real world no one will listen to what I have to say.... Please someone help me. I have read the requirements on empancipation in the state of nevada and she doesnt not qualify for it at this point

She's not even close to being independent.

    Send her home.

something that may be of more importance:

is she allowed to be there under the terms of your lease? If not, her presence could get everybody evicted.

You best get her out quickly before charges for harboring are pressed against you.

If she does not meet the requirements for emancipation then the answer to your subject heading question is *obviously* no.
