Probation in Washington State and Medical Marijuana
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Washington

I am on probation and want to get my green card for medical marijuana, and the in J&S it states not to use any drugs unless prescribed by a dr. So if I get my card am I good to go or is there a process involved?

Remember, that MJ is still illegal under Federal laws - talk to your probation officer and see what s/he says.

Typical terms of probation anticipate compliance with federal, state and local laws.

Given the outcome of Initiative 502, I would be surprised if the probation department does not have an official policy on "medical marijuana".

Were you sentenced before or after the initiative passed? If before, all the more reason to talk to your probation officer. If after... you should still talk to your probation officer.
