Gaining Residency After Overstaying Tourist Visas
I am trying to get some information. I have been in the U.S since 1997 with my 2 sons. We flew into new york on tourist visas. The visas expired in 2003. I have been working for three years with a tin # and paying taxes. My two sons have been in school since 2nd grade and are graduating at the top of there class as seniors this year. Is there any way to apply status in the U.S. the boys want to go to college but I am afraid we will be deported if they apply. Also, they are not eligible for any school loans. I try to help them and have destroyed them at the same time. is there anything that can be done? I have family that are here as citizens, but are my sisters and brothers and niece and nephew. Any ideas.

No good ones. I suggest that you consult an immigration lawyer.
