Will an Old MIP Charge Affect Naturalization
Was cited for an mip of alcohol 12 years ago in Texas. (20 at the time) first and only offense. Completed deferred disposition, after a guilty plea. Have had 2 speeding tickets that have been paid in time. Applied for citizenship, biometrics completed. Waiting now for interview letter. Shouldn't be any problems right? Worrying for nothing??

One MIP (and a couple of other traffic citations) with successful completion and a lack of other untoward behavior shouldn't be too much of an issue as long as ALL of the items have been accurately reported on your applicatoin.
