How to Subpoena Phone Records for a Warrant or Probable Cause Hearing
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia.
I am the plaintiff and seeking a warrant against a guy who has been harassing my family for months. He was arrested once and charged with Terroristic Threats and Acts (Felony) and Harassing Communication (Misdemeanor), and was released with bond conditions stating that he was to have no contact with me, any member of my family, nor could any member of his family contact me or any member of my family for any reason whatsoever. Since being released he's violated the conditions several times, with the latest being texting and calling my 15 year old daughter.
I can get the phone records from the phone company but it will cost me $80 to do so. Is there a way I can subpoena them myself to save $80 and have them before the hearing in about 3 weeks?

Is there some reason your local prosecutor's office can't or won't subpoena these records themselves to enter as evidence at the bail violation hearing?

The bond conditions are in a separate county, they're waiting until this warrant hearing to determine if they are going to pursue a bond violation.
