Visitation Set Up
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California. my fiance and I live in Utah state. He had two little boys from a previous marriage. Visitation had been set to her discretion. He pays child support on time every month. Since it's so hard to come up with the money to see the boys they usually just come during the summer. So when it starts to get close the summer time she calls and proceeds to tell us that we can't have them because they don't want to come, our only one can come but not the other. I don't Know what to do because he pays so much put of his check for child . That it makes it hard to even live. We don't have any money left over after our own bills. I just think that he is doing his very best to try and be a long distance dad. He posts child support, sends gifts for almost every holiday, and birthdays, and he calls at least once a week. W don't even know where to start to get a better visitation set up without spending so much money that we don't have. What is fair? How do I even get started?

Re: Visitation Set Up
If your fiancé has a court order that allows visitation at the mother's discretion, and he is not happy with how she is exercising that discretion, he can bring a motion to modify the order with the court that has jurisdiction over the custody case.
As that appears to be California, start here.
