Re: Issues After Name Change
The use of the "straw man" statement explains a lot. Sounds like s freeman or whatever they are currently claiming to be.
If you want best buy to stop using your old name, you have to stop using it as we'll. when changing your identity for safety reasons, you close or ignore all old accounts that were associated with the old name. If you merely change the name on the account it can be traced to the new you.
With doctors offices. You have to stop using the old doctor. You can get copies of all your records. Those and the court order changing your old name to the new name are all you will need when you start going to the new doctor.

Job reference? For someone whom calls themselves a 'Knowitall', you don't know everything. Best Buy Rewards Program is not job stuff.
If I missed somewhere in your whiny, droning, increasingly rude complaints that you are in a tizzy because you have to give up your old rewards account and start a new one, well... sorry. But if that's the gist of your complaint about Best Buy, get over yourself and start a new rewards program account.

I am talking about the legal representation of whom I am, and that has changed. The previous 'straw man' is dead. A new one lives.
You are free to view it any way you wish. That doesn't change the law, it doesn't change reality, and it doesn't require even one other person on the planet to agree with you.

There cannot be two at the same time, just think about it along the lines of Highlander (there can only be one).
Highlander involved decapitation and, if you get into the worst of the sequels, aliens. It's greatest commonality with your argument here is that it's a fantasy.

The only differences between this and witness protection is that I am not a witness and I don't have the State Department helping me deal with all of this. Other than that, my name change is pretty much identical.
The only difference between your name change and witness protection is that your name change had nothing to do with witness protection? That's not a subtle distinction.
Re: Issues After Name Change
Only reason I wish to keep the Best Buy account is because it was created after the incidents that require my protection. Also, I am a premier member with over $75,000 spent last term alone and about half that this term, which means I've already earned another term of premier status.
As for the straw man reference, I am not a part of those people, freeman or whatever they are, I just agreed with that view as a persons name is not whom they are, just a representation of them on paper.

I am sorry if I hurt your feelings, but I am getting tired of being treated like sh*t just because I ask a question. Honestly, I started off very respectful and 90% of you immediately started off with the flaming and the trolling. In fact, the only person whom wasn't disrespectful towards me was JK. Also, you think I was rude to you before, wait until I respond to another one of your quotes.

Yet again another trolling and yet you call me rude? How much intelligence must one lack to not see my meaning in this? Are you really that stupid? Let me spell it out for you so that you might understand. In both cases, ones identity is completely changed to protect ones life. That is how both are the same. Also, one other question, you live in California, what are you doing trying to answer a question about Kentucky anyways?
Now, with that, I am done with this thread. I had hoped to get mature individuals responding to my question but alas, all I get is trolls. I think I will be the better man here and just leave. Good day to all.
Re: Issues After Name Change
The court order allows you to use a different name.
It doesn't compel anybody else to use it.
If you are doing business with people that won't update their records with the name change then stop doing business with them. There's nothing else you can do about it.

Hurt my feelings? No, you were exceptionally childish and insulting - and continue to be - but I'm quite used to people like you acting like overgrown babies in the forum. Sorry if it hurts your feelings that I'm accurately describing your behavior.

As if I needed more evidence that my assessment of you was accurate... but thanks anyway.

You are free to pay a lawyer to tell you what you were told here for free.
Neither your fantasies nor your temper tantrums are going to change the law.

In the interest of expediency I'll summarize the next response: "I know you are, but what am I?"
