Posting flyers Arizona

Can I post flyers with tape to peoples front door? I did that yesterday and got a call from a homeowner saying that it was illegal. I thought i just couldn't put anything in the mail box. Thanks for your help.

As long as you do no damage, you have every right to exercise your First Amendment freedom of speech, even commercial free speech. So, pay no attention to some homeowner telling you it's illegal. It's not.
