Do You Have to Tell the Police Where Your Car Is
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arkansas

If I drive somewhere and somehow participate in a crime that does NOT involve my vehicle and GET ARRESTED, am I required by law to tell the police where my car is? In such case I might not want my car to be searched and possibly towed.

why would the cops want the car if it wasn't possibly involved with the crime?

If the cop asks me how I got there and I lied to them and then they find out that I drove to the mall (where I got arrested), could they charge me on a separate offense?

You don't have to tell them anything. You have the right to remain silent.

yes. while you can remain silent, if you don't but lie to them, then you have a problem. It also gives them ammunition in court to discredit anything else you might say to them. Once a liar, always a liar, at least that is how the prosecutor presents you.

What is sounds like is you need to stop talking to everybody other than your lawyer.

Better yet, don't commit any crimes and you won't have to go through any of this.

Of course, there is no guarantee that sooner or later the mall won't have your car towed anyway.
