Where to Serve Discovery Request in Washington
My question involves traffic court in the State of: Washington
I received a traffic infraction notice that I intend to contest. My hearing notice doesn't list the info for the prosecutor.
I assume it is the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney civil division at 3000 Rockefeller Ave, 7th floor, in Everett- is that where I'll need to serve my request for discovery or do I have it wrong?

They are at the Everett courthouse on the first floor. If you are hand delivering, go in the main entrance, past the guard post, all the way to the back wall and turn left then right. They are near the end of the hall on the left, poked into a small side hall. If in doubt, ask someone.

Thanks, found the place. The woman at the desk refused to answer whether or not I was in the right place to serve the paper (she used some bad football analogy, presumably to explain to me that we're on opposite teams and that if I were a private attorney I wouldn't need to ask questions) but she stamped it received anyway. How fantastically cheeky of her!

Actually, she's a "civil servant"! That means she actually WORKS for YOU!!!! Personally, I'd write a letter to the prosecuting authority complaining about the TOTALLY unprofessional attitude! There's no reason for that!
Just my $.02,
