We've all been there, wanting to do something and being told "no".

Know my what family would have done if I had pulled a stunt like you're planning? Either sent me to live with my father and his wife....or....see about Juvenile Detention.....or

....treat me like a prisoner. Drive me to/from school and physically escort me into and out of the building. Sell my car (it was theirs and the title was still in their name). No cell phone. No internet. No visitors (oops, that means quitting my band). I'm sure I would have had to quit my job too. And the day I turned 18 - my belongings would be packed (only the stuff I had purchased with earnings from my job before I had to quit). Everything else would be picked up by Purple Heart. I would be shown the door with only my musical equipment, stereo, and the clothes on my back.

Depending on how often you disobey your parents and how much trouble you get into your parents have the option of turning you over to the courts and having you declared incorrigible and put in a juvenile facility.

My advice: behave yourself and do what you're told.

You can leave when you're 18 but then you'll find out that the whole world takes over controlling your behavior.

You have no idea how good you have it. Don't screw it up.

I agree. You have no idea how good you have it.

If you do go to this concert...I hope it is worth it. Again, your parents can kick you to the curb when you turn 18. They don't even have to let you finish high school. And they don't have to let you take any of the stuff they purchased for you either...that means computer, cell phone, clothes, bed, toothbrush....
