Can You Be Charged With Dealing Drugs if You're Not Arrested on the Spot

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas, I would like to know if you get a court date to come to court for a delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone should i been arrested at the time of the crime?all i have got is a letter telling me to show up for grand jury.i dont know anything about a charge never been arrested for tis charge are know anything about it and they want tell me anything but show up for court.

You're not required to be formally arrested PERIOD. They can just send you an order to appear.
