MIP By Consumption, Officer Notes that I Initially Fled
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
I'm 19 and currently in college in Michigan. I received an mip by consumption last Saturday by a state police officer and the remarks section of the ticket says "fled after verb. in apt in ... village." Would this remark be significant if I was to plead not guilty and go to court? Should I plead guilty and not attempt to reduce the fine/other consequences?
Thanks

You should consult a local lawyer about whether it is possible, in your county and under your facts, to get a more favorable disposition - such as a deferred sentence.
