My question involves a child custody case from the State of:
Courts grant emergency custody based on only one side of the story because they believe the situation to be one where waiting could be dangerous for the child. But emergency custody is generally temporary until a followup hearing can occur where the court hears BOTH sides before making a final determination about what happens. It's up to you now to address whatever concerns were brought before the court and convince the court that the change shouldn't be made permanent.
