Does a Child's Name Automatically Change When the Mother Remarries

When I get married will my daughters last name be changed as mine would be?

My fiancee is not the birth father, however he is the daddy. He loves and takes care of her just like shes his own. The birth father has never seen her and has chose not to be in her life period, he also is not on the birth certificate or listed as the birth father on any documents at all.
