Must an Employer Pay for Transportation Home if an Employee Becomes Ill Out-of-State
Are trucking companies responsible for a driver’s transportation home if a health problem would occur while a driver is on run in another state? My brother had an Asthma attack (first one in his life) while on the road.
The company wanted his team mate to leave him in the hospital in another state with no money and no way home. His team mate stayed until he was released now the company won’t let him drive until he sees a doctor. Now he is stuck riding in the truck for 2 weeks with no pay.

Employer's Responsibility To Transport a Sick Employee Home
I'm not aware of any such requirement. Further, from what you say, he is being provided with transportation home.
