My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
I work at Kmart and we have this rewards system that give you 10 points for every dollar you have spent there. Recently I got called in by Loss Prevention due to the fact that I was using other customers rewards cards in order to gain the monetary value. It was somewhere around 450$ worth of points, the police were not involved but they did make me sign a civil demand paper stating that i would have to pay back all the losses I caused which is fine with me. My only concern is if I do get fired and apply for another job will this affect me? Will this be set on my record?
