    Hearing Aid Warranty and Repairs
My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Michigan.

This is regarding a hearing aid.

I had repair work done on 12/9/11 which was a repair and recase. Also a 12 month warranty.

I had more work done on 8/29/12, to replace the receiver. This was covered under the warranty.

I am now having the same problem as the 8/29/12 issue. My hearing dealer is - well, I am not going back to her after how rude and snotty she was today (as was the receptionist) - not their first time being rude. She refused to call the repair company and ask. She begrudgingly made me copies of the repair orders. (I have emailed the repair company to inquire)

Under the repair orders, it says: Standard Services (includes 6 month warranty).

So would this work I need done be covered on the 6 month warranty from the last repair?

    thanks! :)

    Disagreeable
    Re: Repairs and Warranties
Standard Service, is service you pay for. You received warranty repair, which lasts for the standard term of the warranty.

Exactly what are you looking at? You received a warranty service, not a standard service, so that language would appear inapplicable.

Ok. Thanks. Their form is a bit confusing to read....
