Does Marriage to a Citizen Automatically Give You a Visa
    FLORIDA.

So, my mother got married with a non resident in the United States, she being also a non resident, what I wonder is if getting married in the United States and having the document of marriage is of any help for a VISA, or if the marriage in U.S. soil means any type of VISA at all, for here, and possibly for her children.

    Date of marriage was 2002.

    Thanks for your answer.

No, if the marriage was to a permanent resident, he can apply for her green card.

Getting married here means absolutely nothing in terms of visa acquisition. If her children are born here, they are citizens.

And if her children are adults who were not born here or not born to a US citizen, it's generally a long wait before they'll be able to actually get a visa - unmarried children over the age of 21 take priority of married children over the age of 21.

I'm talking years here. Not months. YEARS.

And of course this ALL depends on Mom's status. Did she enter legally?

Well, this OP left a lovely bigoted response elsewhere:
