Does an Absent Claimant Mean Charges Will Be Dropped
My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Georgia
I was in a collision in Martinez, GA. I was clearly at fault and that is not up for dispute. I live in Columbia, SC and in court here if the claimant does not show up for court the ticket & fines are dropped. Is the same practice in effect in GA?

Nope, at least not at arraignment. If you take it to trial and the person you hit isn't there, depending on the totality of circumstances, it might get dismissed.
