Don't lie.
You just spoke with your lawyer on a Sunday afternoon and your lawyer told you that you could be emancipated.
Please PM me with your lawyer's details because s/he needs to learn a few things about emancipation in your state.

Yeah, ok. Then ask your lawyer why you have absolutely ZERO chance of being emancipated here. Having a job is only ONE of the VERY MANY elements that the courts look at. Any hope for emancipation in YOUR case ended when (a) you got pregnant, and (b) when your school efforts took a back seat to other things. Emancipation isn't going to happen. No shot. Zero. Adoption by baby's daddy's family isn't going to happen either. As already advised, if your living situation is unlawful, abusive, or neglectful, your option is to report the issues to law enforcement and child services. What happens then is up to the courts, who will have the final authority to decide where you'd be placed (foster care, group home, or possible adoption by a member of your OWN family).
My in-box is empty. And Brianna logged off.
And youth-net.com lists Brianna's state as one of the most difficult for a minor to be emancipated in.
NJ is perhaps second only to PA in terms of how difficult it is for a minor to be emancipated.
;)
You know where I'm going with that :D
Quite.....
How far along are you? Once you have the baby, at least in Nevada, you are considered an adult. I think even once you are pregnant you may be considered the same way.
That is not correct - and it is best not to post rumor and misinformation. Neither pregnancy nor having a will give you the rights of an adult in any state. The most you get is autonomy in relation to your medical care pertaining to pregnancy and childbirth.
