Driving Suspended but when Appearing for Arraignment License Fixed
My question involves traffic court in the State of: California
Okay so my friend had a suspended license for failing to appear at another courthouse awhile ago he recently got cited for driving on a suspended license.
But since then he has corrected the license suspension and has a valid license or will have one tomorrow he just needs to pay the $55 re-in statement fee.
So my question is: What sort of punishment can he expect to receive by the court he's going to for his citation?
Like what would be the minimum thing that could happen and maximum as well as what you think is most likely?
(He's never been convicted of driving while on a suspended license)

Considering he now has a valid license.

You don't want to know my thoughts on your questions.
Re: Driving Suspended but when Appearing for Arraignment License Fixed
Haha honestly what do you guys think are the minimum, maximum, and most likely sanctions for this case considering the license is now fixed?

Ohhh haha I thought I deleted this one and posted another one lol
Any thoughts on the question?
My thoughts are that you are starved for attention and no matter which way you look at it, there is plenty that you can do with your time and energy, instead of spending all of both trying to fix a "friend's" problem (are you a Gemini?)... all while there is a high likelihood that you've got your own set of problems that are brewing off site somewhere, which you can work on resolving instead.

Haha I'm not a Gemini and I meant your thoughts on the thread I'm not attention starved I asked an honest question and just want an honest answer nothing more nothing less.
Re: Driving Suspended but when Appearing for Arraignment License Fixed
No, Matt, you don't want to know what I think about this or any of your other threads. Trust me, you don't. TG was considerably more polite about it than I would be if I answered you.
Re: Driving Suspended but when Appearing for Arraignment License Fixed
I'm not asking for you to be polite or rude I'm simply asking for your opinion on the case at hand. Your legal opinion on what the court typically does in this situation. That's all. Just so I know. What'd be the minimum, maximum, and most likely sanction.
So that I can end this thread please and thank you.

That will depend upon his other criminal history.

If we're talking about VC Sec. 14601, he can read it here.

(He's never been convicted of driving while on a suspended license)
That doesn't mean the court won't consider the rest of his criminal record.
Re: Driving Suspended but when Appearing for Arraignment License Fixed
One traffic conviction for speeding in 2010.
And it was marked on the citation as correctable which was further confirmed at arraignment by the public defender.
So I'm asking if corrected the 14601.1 what would the most common sanction be with correction.

Does correctable mean you can correct it and it will be dismissed?
